There no quick fix to hair loss. Yes Nioxin will work if your are losing hair it, it will help stimulate the scalp to help the hair to grow. No it won't bring back your hair if your already bald or half way there.
You don't have to use the kit forever. Its not a miracle cure. If your wanting something permanent you might have to go get a hair transplant. I hope I helped you out.
