hello im 21 years old male and im going bold.my hair its starting to get thinner expeccialy in the front area.i was wondering if im too young to take propecia.are there any other productes that would help me regrow the hair ive lost in the tamples and make my hair thinkker?.is thie sthe best product out there to treat hair loss?

There are severeal forms of baldenss. If it is Androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness) then the hairloss cannot be fully cured in most cases, but just frozen for some time with the treatments availiable on market today.

im 16 and my hairs falling out, well not in clumps, my hair just seems to be thinner and if i scruff my hair up you can clearly see the patches!!!! help me, im worried, my hair just seems to be getting thinner from the front but from the back who knows i dont have eyes there, is there something i can do, is it related to stress i might be under? i think this mustve been happening for ages b/c i used to find a lot small amounts of hair on my duvet but didnt tyk to notice b/c i sometimes sleep cammando, is there something i should be doing or something i shouldn't be doing???? btw i dont use any hair products simply b/c i cant style my hair, however i have tried to use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner the purple version (its to do with hair thinning) but that doesnt seem to work too.

For anyone who has had wavy / curly / frizzy hair!

I have loose curls, and I hate them. I'm getting my hair chemically straightened in three months, but until then, I have VIP seats to Fall Out Boy on June 16th. (WOOHOO! %26lt;3 sexay Pete.) I want to look my best. Here's the thing: whenever I use an anti-frizz product, like Fructis mousse, it looks fine. But about half an hour later, it's like I just got shocked with lightning! I've tried EVERYTHING. John Freida shampoo %26amp; conditioner, Fructis mousse, Herbal Essences specially-made-for-curly-hair gel ... I'm at a loss! Please?

get sun silk in the pink bottle and get there 24/7 creme and let it air dry it wil hold whatever style you want if you want it to be straight then you can just brush your hair till it dries and if you want it to be curly just let it air dry you may have to use alot of the creme but it works and it feels like conditioner in your hair and doesnt make it look greasy but it takes care of the frizz and makes it shiny and healthy looking use the stuff everyday and would never change you can tel a major difference after the first use

Have you ever tried the weekly protein treatments? I haven't.. but I've seen on here that they work wonders for people with frizzy hair. You can also try the Dove shampoo and conditoner for black women.. it makes your hair soft and shiny. I got mad a week or two ago and cut my hair off because I was tired of the frizz and everything - now I regret it because I just started using that shampoo =\ lol. If Garnier is claiming to stop hair loss it means in some of the conditions the product is effective, like if your hairs are not getting proper nutrients , garnier products might help in supplying the same and this is clearly mentioned on their On pack communication.

The claim has to be true and tested otherwise the advert is not allowed to be shown on tv, in a magazine or where ever.

However it does not necessarily have to be be tested under real life circumstances and could just be tested in laboratory conditions or more commonly on a small sample.

Are you using the SoColor Grey Series (504,505,etc)? If not, that's your problem. Make sure you use the grey series. Grey hair is difficult, it becomes more and more resistant the more chemicals are put into it.

If you are using the grey series. Add a little of neutral (not of the grey series) to the mix. Use a deposit only developer. 20v should work, but 10v is best. DO NOT USE COLOR SYNC!! Color sync is a demi color. It will not cover grey hair.

If you have tried those things mentioned above. Try switching to a different color. Usually clients who have had their hair colored repeatedly will develop a resistant to a brand of color, the same way their hair develops a resistance to anything else.

hey there. i don't know any hair damaging products, but i would recommend laser hair removal. i recently had it done on my underarms and it's pretty painless and cheaper during this time of year.

i'm sure if you looked in the phone book or talked to your doctor they could refer you to a hair removal clinic. they will first set you up an appointment for a consultation where you will be able to tell them what you want done. then set up appts for your actual treatment.

i got a real good deal on mine, because it was during the winter when the clinic is slow (summer is the busiest) It takes more than one treatment, so most places offer packages of 3 or 5. This cuts the costs tremendously!

I have an autoimmune condition and a seizure disorder. I'm not taking any meds for 2 years now. I used to have really nice, thick hair and big bushy bangs. Now they're so thin they barely cover my forehead!

Rather than trying to find a product to help regrow hair, you first need to have your condition properly diagnosed. You may have a treatable hormone problem and be able to reverse the symptoms if treated soon enough.

For example, the symptoms you describe occur in polycystic ovarian syndrome, where too many male hormones are present. (The hair that is blonde now may get thicker and darker with time if not treated.) Not the only condition, of course, but certainly one that fits. Some autoimmune diseases can involve hair loss, so you mght need to check for that condition becoming more active. Hi, I'm so sorry for what you're going through, but unfortunately, there is no product that regrows hair. WIth an autoimmune disorder, your hair follicles have entered a 'resting phase' , and will not produce new hair. There isn't anything that is going to help with that besides medicinal management of your condition. You are going to have to make a tough decision.. medicate your illness or suffer hair loss. I'm so sorry. I know why you don't want to medicate, and it sucks that you're suffering from that choice.

In reference to your facial hair, your body is just producing too much testosterone, and the only thing that you will be able to do is manage it the way men do. You will have to shave/ wax periodically.. or if you want something more permanent, there is laser hair removal.

I used Rogaine shampoo when I was about 20 because I was getting paranoid that I was losing hair. I thought it worked really well and it seemed to make my scalp healthier. From what my hair dresser said, it is important to message the scalp to promote hair growth. I don't understand that biology of it but it has worked. I still have a full head of hair 10 years later.

Hi I'm 24 years old and i'm starting to see signs of hair loss with a growing "V" shape above my forehead and redness along that hairline. Couple of years ago I was loosing so much hair that I started to worry and I panicked when my hair dresser confirmed my fear. Here are the steps I took:

First at all, check your Iron deficiency, often times Iron deficiency leads to hair loss.

Since my Iron was in the normal levels, I took the products my hair dresser recommended (Triphasic -see the link below) and followed her instructions:

1. For three months, apply one full bottle twice a week after washing my hair and massaged the product in.

2. At the fourth month, apply once a week

3. At the fifth month, apply once every two weeks

4. At the sixth month, apply once a month

I also took a saw palmeto capsule every other day. The combination of the product and the capsules worked for me, the hair I lost came back, I now continuously have baby hair and my hair dresser says that he rather deals with lots of hair than thining hair.

If you want to try, follow the directions and apply a full bottle. My hair dresser mentioned that other of ther clients tried it but did not work for this person because she was trying to save half bottle for next application. Seems like the white powder you have to mix in before applying looses its properties over time... but I only know what worked for me.

I did not want to apply Rogain because I understand that you have to be very careful of what you touch if any product reminds in your hands; additionally, if you stop using it the hair starts to fall again.

My 33 year old son has been 'balding' since he was 16 ... he shaves his head, and it's beautiful. My 50 year old husband is 'bald with a fringe' and he is NOT the father of my son ... but I LOVE HIM and love his 'bald head' (which he has had since he was in his early 20s, I met him when he was 39).

You may try Rogaine, and it may help you to keep more hair longer ... but I'm a woman, and I actually think that a 'bald man' who doesn't care is more of a 'real man' than one who tries to 'grow more hair' with Rogaine. You got your 'balding' from your MOTHER, by the way ... and since you have a 'red line' on your head ... between the 'normal' hair and where it is balding, I suggest you TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR before you try Rogaine. If you use it you MUST use it for the rest of your live, or you WILL go bald in the end.

well i donno if your blow drying it or anything...but u should stop doing that and also cut off the bad, dry, damaged split ends...i did that as well and u just need to leave the hair alone and let it due its own thing....i also put in hot treatment oil 3 times a week and leave it on for like an hour, its really helped my hair go back to what it was...hope that helps

k peeps tell me if this sounds right i was doing some reseach and i come out to think if the average person loses 100-200 hairs a day blonds have 140,000 hairs black hair has 110,000 red hair has 90,000 etc well any ways i come to think if this hair product i bought to day caled shen min really will reduce hair loss lets say it will cut hair loss in half on 50-100 hairs a day. I added it and came out that my hair will grow by .12 of an inch faster which for the average air grow is .50 of an inch evey month thats a 25% faster hair growth right... I've always had thick black hair, although it is very curly. In recent years as a result of dying it and using hair products, I've noticed the front and back of my scalp thinning a little bit - the hair's become whispy. I first noticed the thinning when I was 16, but this was after the first time I bleached my hair.

this is amazing about a year ago i was experiencing hair loss at the center of my hair which i was very shocked about - i did some research into how to allow the hair to grow back so i used various hair products and spoke to professionals in the hairdressing field and with diligent and dedicated care my hair had started to grow back not as fast as it used to but it has grown - i did not have to go to expensive hair clinics and buy expensive hair products. all i did was massage my hair on a daily basis and used root stimulator products and whole eggs together with using in my hair ,leave in hair conditioner.

I have natural curly hair but you could never tell cause it's friggin straight...what products could I get to get my hair back to curly? I have tried almost everything that I could think of to make my hair even somewhat wavy or curly and nothing has worked. I have used chemicals on my hair (hair dye, hair bleach) and I was wondering if maybe that could have altered my hairs apperance (loss of curls) I want to find something that might bring back my curls. I thought of cutting all my hair off LOL and a perm but that (perm) would be my last resort. I dye my hair to no end, and it hasn't ever resulted in a loss of my natural wave/curl.

Is it wavy when you get out of the shower? If so, try scrunching it then, using a really strong hair gel. (Your hair'll be crunchy, but hey, it'll be curly/wavy.)

That's about the only way I can get mine to stay curly all day long, though. (I live in Florida, so the humidity does horrible horrible things to my hair.)

Try combing it instead of brushing, my hair is more curly/wavey when I comb it. Again, try a strong hair gel. If it's slightly curlier when you mousse, try using the mousse and a comb.

I dont think that you had naturally curly. If so, it could be staright now, even after how much of chemical treatments (unless rebounding/straightening) you would have done to your hair.

Well, for the time being, you can use mousse or hair sprays to create curls and if you dont want all that hassles, then you can go for a perm itself.

I have the same problem. When I was younger, my hair was very curly. As I've gotten older the curls have kinda faded. I still have a little bit left though. I just use a little bit of gel and scrunch it. It seems if I straightened my hair the day before, it won't be as curly as if I didn't. If gel won't work, I would suggest getting a body wave. It's a lot more relaxed than a perm. You're right, the perm will make you look like a poodle, even if your hair is long. A wave will make it curly and it will be big curls that will make it look really pretty rather than the tiny curls. When you get your hair done, you can always ask then to use bigger curlers so the curls won't be so little. Good Luck!!!
