Is proecia safe to take?

hello im 21 years old male and im going bold.my hair its starting to get thinner expeccialy in the front area.i was wondering if im too young to take propecia.are there any other productes that would help me regrow the hair ive lost in the tamples and make my hair thinkker?.is thie sthe best product out there to treat hair loss?

Is proecia safe to take?

There are severeal forms of baldenss. If it is Androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness) then the hairloss cannot be fully cured in most cases, but just frozen for some time with the treatments availiable on market today.

1) Hair transplant (FUE technology) creates really natural hairline, no scars, the best way to go if you have enough donor hair and money of course.

2. Propecia (Finasteride) and Minoxidil are the only ones approved by FDA and proven to work in most men so far.

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same sides(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal crap before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html . It is under $1 per pill as I buy the 90 pills. (89$ for 90)

Is proecia safe to take?

propecia and rogaine are both considered safe and effective... keep in mind that tomorrow's headlines could read that these drugs are not safe...

use at your own discretion

Hair loss!!!!?

Hair loss can have many causes, getting older, having certain diseases such as thyroid problems, taking medications even not eating a healthy diet. Since you are 16 the top possibilities would seem to be diet and thyroid issues.

Take a look at this site for more info.

After that visit a doctor to discuss the issues.

Hair loss!!!!?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Hair loss!!!!?

Applying castor oil regularly may help. Also, application of coconut oil with lime juice frequently may arrest hair loss. There many such suggestions listed on a site called tandurust.com. I have listed the page in the source. May help you get some tips?

Hair loss!!!!?

Our hair is viewed by many humans as our crowning glory, quite literally. We lose, on average, 50-100 strands each day which are replaced by new hair follicles. However, age, genetics or illness can cause this new hair growth to slow and balding patterns can occur.

Although mens hair loss cannot be avoided, you can improve the health of your hair and scalp to delay further loss.

Hair issues ...?

For anyone who has had wavy / curly / frizzy hair!

I have loose curls, and I hate them. I'm getting my hair chemically straightened in three months, but until then, I have VIP seats to Fall Out Boy on June 16th. (WOOHOO! %26lt;3 sexay Pete.) I want to look my best. Here's the thing: whenever I use an anti-frizz product, like Fructis mousse, it looks fine. But about half an hour later, it's like I just got shocked with lightning! I've tried EVERYTHING. John Freida shampoo %26amp; conditioner, Fructis mousse, Herbal Essences specially-made-for-curly-hair gel ... I'm at a loss! Please?

Hair issues ...?

get sun silk in the pink bottle and get there 24/7 creme and let it air dry it wil hold whatever style you want if you want it to be straight then you can just brush your hair till it dries and if you want it to be curly just let it air dry you may have to use alot of the creme but it works and it feels like conditioner in your hair and doesnt make it look greasy but it takes care of the frizz and makes it shiny and healthy looking use the stuff everyday and would never change you can tel a major difference after the first use

Hair issues ...?

how about shaving your entire head?

you sound pretty ridiculous to me, but i guess everyone has their issues

Hair issues ...?

Have you ever tried the weekly protein treatments? I haven't.. but I've seen on here that they work wonders for people with frizzy hair. You can also try the Dove shampoo and conditoner for black women.. it makes your hair soft and shiny. I got mad a week or two ago and cut my hair off because I was tired of the frizz and everything - now I regret it because I just started using that shampoo =\ lol. Anyway, have fun at the concert and good luck with the hair deal - I know it can be realllllllllllllly stressful..! Oh yeah, btw, I'm white - just thought I'd throw that in since I mentioned the shampoo and stuff so you wouldn't think I was black using it .. :)

What can you do to prevent hair loss - what products work?

hi - My BF is 25 and he has been loosing his hair since he was about 20 - it started out as a little spot in the back and now that spot is pretty bald and the top of his head is getting pretty thin - I guess that is male pattern baldness....what is strange is that his whole family has a ton of hair - even his grandparents in their 80's! It frankly doesn't bother me - and I would love him even if he was totally bald - but he is very upset about it and wants to know what products would help -- like Rogaine for men and things of that sort -- he was actually thinking of getting a hair transplant done - but I want him to try other options first --

Your experience and advice would be great!

thanks!

What can you do to prevent hair loss - what products work?

Baldness is something that males suffer from more than women because they've got more testosterone.

Your bf could spend a fortune but he's still bound to lose his hair eventually. The only sure-fire way to stop it happening is to have his hormones tampered with until they're in the female range and I'm sure that neither you nor he would want that.

Tell him that it's the most masculine people who go bald and tell him you like the fact that he's a masculine guy and his baldness shows it to the wider world.

What can you do to prevent hair loss - what products work?

i know a great one....its called comebackhair and its found at your local drug store

What can you do to prevent hair loss - what products work?

Try "castrodon" from "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas",women hate bald men except basket-ball players, remember to him "baldness is loneliness",if you are bald you can say to your sex-life goodbye.

There is a Rogaine for women. Once you start to use it, you must continue or the hair that was grown with it will leave once you stop.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

garnier products claiming contains will stop hair loss and enhance growth

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

They never do that , their is always a '*' mark for any claim. It is the responsibility of the consumer to go through each and every condition and then make any statement.

If Garnier is claiming to stop hair loss it means in some of the conditions the product is effective, like if your hairs are not getting proper nutrients , garnier products might help in supplying the same and this is clearly mentioned on their On pack communication.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

Who says they are false? Are you a doctor? How do you know that Garnier DOESN'T stop hair loss?

That is why they get away with it, they must have some data to support their clam or they will get sued and they are not willing to pay millions on an ad to have someone sue them. Therefore, there is some data that must backup their clam.

It is a common feeling everyone has that advertisers lie to us, but that is not the case most times.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

Why would they do that?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You bought it, they got what they were after.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

a sucker born every minutes or they want to think like you

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

If you can prove that claim made by the company's advertisment is false, you are free to pull the company in the court of law.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

The claim has to be true and tested otherwise the advert is not allowed to be shown on tv, in a magazine or where ever.

However it does not necessarily have to be be tested under real life circumstances and could just be tested in laboratory conditions or more commonly on a small sample.

If you read the small print during ads they will usually say they are tested on around 100 people and about 85% agreed. In business if you were conduting accurate and representative surveys you are expected to test around 1000 people and get 95% result otherwise it shouldn't be considered accurate.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

It is because of you and me keeping quiet and unconcerned about its effect to our own society I shall add a few more like colgate, Close Up, sell their toothpaste in combo pack as 20% off. However MRP is printed in the pack. I asked for a reduction of 20% from the MRP. I was told by the shopkeeper the MRP itself is a reduced price when you compare the price of normal single pack. If that is the case what is the meaning of MRP on the combo pack with the wordings 20% off. This is just to loot and lure the public. I couldnot get a bill and calll the their local office was totally not responding. To my shock even to their HO not even have the courtesy to listen to my STD calls and reply to my letters. This is a sheer exploitation of loopholes in the law and our inability to spare that sort of time.

Every second year some finance company or the other offer unimaginable benefits and they fall into their trap and regret at a later date to loose whatever they had..

What happend to Sterling Magnum - to own teak wood trees. It has gone to the jungles and are we are afraid and even forgotten about own harrd earned money.

Hence we also have a role to play.

Why big companies produces such false ads to misslead inocent people?

they think that this the best way to make money and leave piece fully..........but they r wrong..... let me not drag this answer . where in we should be aware of this all words.

Hair color... Resistant gray hair!!!?

Any experienced colorists/hairdressers out there....I am having trouble getting a clients gray to cover. I am using the Matrix Socolor product on her. Should I just let it process longer or will that over process the rest of her hair? I am at a loss here. Thanks

Hair color... Resistant gray hair!!!?

Are you using the SoColor Grey Series (504,505,etc)? If not, that's your problem. Make sure you use the grey series. Grey hair is difficult, it becomes more and more resistant the more chemicals are put into it.

If you are using the grey series. Add a little of neutral (not of the grey series) to the mix. Use a deposit only developer. 20v should work, but 10v is best. DO NOT USE COLOR SYNC!! Color sync is a demi color. It will not cover grey hair.

If you have tried those things mentioned above. Try switching to a different color. Usually clients who have had their hair colored repeatedly will develop a resistant to a brand of color, the same way their hair develops a resistance to anything else.

Let me know if I can help again. I hope this answers your question. I have a yahoo! group for hairstylist around the country - it's cosmoinfo2006 - check it out and see if we can help!!!!

What are some hair damaging products?

hey there. i don't know any hair damaging products, but i would recommend laser hair removal. i recently had it done on my underarms and it's pretty painless and cheaper during this time of year.

i'm sure if you looked in the phone book or talked to your doctor they could refer you to a hair removal clinic. they will first set you up an appointment for a consultation where you will be able to tell them what you want done. then set up appts for your actual treatment.

i got a real good deal on mine, because it was during the winter when the clinic is slow (summer is the busiest) It takes more than one treatment, so most places offer packages of 3 or 5. This cuts the costs tremendously!

Good luck to you!

Propecia vs. Profinast?

Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anyone out there has truly had any success with a product called Profinast, for hair loss. I've used Propecia with good success, and was thinking of swtiching to Profinast since it's herbal - but wanted to know if it's just a scam or does it really work. Their web site also offers a penis enlargement drug called MXMan and we all know that those kinds of pills do not really enlarge the penis, so that makes me wonder about this hair loss drug as well - is it a sham? Thanks,

NM

Propecia vs. Profinast?

I use Profinast from http://stophairloss.ws and works good for now. My hair stop falling and it`s more thatch.

Has anyone use the hair loss product called Regenetresse? Negative or Positive results?

This is a WONDERFUL product! My hair looks and feels healthier than with other "hair loss treatments" I have applied. It is a very simple procedure, and the results in about 3-4 weeks are amazing!!

What is the best hair loss product for men? And does it really help hair grow?

rogain. for some men it really does work.

What is the best hair loss product for men? And does it really help hair grow?

Lavender oil has been shown to increase hair growth so massage the oil once a week and soak for 30 minutes before washing. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

What is the best hair loss product for men? And does it really help hair grow?

The ultimate truth is that for hair to grow longer, we have to eat healthy, exercise adequately, reduce stress and most important sleep well. Include B-complex, B6, and vitamin C, E to make up for any deficiencies. To Know more about your hair http://tipsfromruby-hairgrow.blogspot.co... will help you.

My hair is thinning, especially my bangs. What can I do? I'm also growing more hair on my face a

I have an autoimmune condition and a seizure disorder. I'm not taking any meds for 2 years now. I used to have really nice, thick hair and big bushy bangs. Now they're so thin they barely cover my forehead!

Can anyone recommend a particular product that could help stop the loss and perhaps even regrow hair? Is there some common medical condition that causes hairloss on your head and hair growth on your face? Thank goodness it's blond but I still need to wax most of my face and I'm getting tired of all the maintenance.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

My hair is thinning, especially my bangs. What can I do? I'm also growing more hair on my face and I'm female!

Rather than trying to find a product to help regrow hair, you first need to have your condition properly diagnosed. You may have a treatable hormone problem and be able to reverse the symptoms if treated soon enough.

For example, the symptoms you describe occur in polycystic ovarian syndrome, where too many male hormones are present. (The hair that is blonde now may get thicker and darker with time if not treated.) Not the only condition, of course, but certainly one that fits. Some autoimmune diseases can involve hair loss, so you mght need to check for that condition becoming more active. Hair loss and abnormal hair growth can also occur from some antiseizure meds as well.

Whatever the cause, drugs like topical minoxidil can work for women as well as men, although not guaranteed. But you really need to have some tests done to see if your hormones are what's gone haywire and if they can be corrected.

My hair is thinning, especially my bangs. What can I do? I'm also growing more hair on my face and I'm female!

check your dermatoilogist

My hair is thinning, especially my bangs. What can I do? I'm also growing more hair on my face and I'm female!

Hi, I'm so sorry for what you're going through, but unfortunately, there is no product that regrows hair. WIth an autoimmune disorder, your hair follicles have entered a 'resting phase' , and will not produce new hair. There isn't anything that is going to help with that besides medicinal management of your condition. You are going to have to make a tough decision.. medicate your illness or suffer hair loss. I'm so sorry. I know why you don't want to medicate, and it sucks that you're suffering from that choice.

In reference to your facial hair, your body is just producing too much testosterone, and the only thing that you will be able to do is manage it the way men do. You will have to shave/ wax periodically.. or if you want something more permanent, there is laser hair removal.

well i assume you're asking how to REGROW the hair. i have heard that Rogaine works pretty well if you have time and patience. if not try the hair plugs (implants) which use your real hair.

Which is the best hair loss product?

Please ignore the smart butts on here. Go to your local salon and look into Nioxin. It's professional hair care for hairloss. Have a consultation with a stylist to see which product is best for you. It is rather expensive. But it lasts forever and is well worth the money. It also works. Unlike rogaine.. Rogaine is temporary if you stop taking it, it stops working and your hair falls out again.

Please please do this as soon as possible, you won't regret it. For more information check out www.nioxin.com

Which is the best hair loss product?

i don't know, but i do know that once you start using them, you have to continue, so it will cost you some major money. I also think that the only way to regrow hair , is to actually get the transplant..hair from the back of your head to the top or sides..

Which is the best hair loss product?

Arabs claim camel pi ss works magic. (ever see a bald Arab). Don't know where you'd get any though, friend of mine tried the Philadelphia zoo, got lots of attention, lots of funny looks, lots of strange questions, but no camel pee. You're on your own there! It sells in Algeria for about $3 an ounce, but I don't know if you can have it shipped here.

Which is the best hair loss product?

You can stop hair loss using many cheap and effective home remedies. Egg white, lemon juice, oil massage are other home remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm... will prevent further problems.

Do you have to use Nioxin continuously once you started?

Do you have to use Nioxin continuously once you started? It's product for preventing hair loss. Do you have to use it forever once you started.Or you can use it for a while and have permanent results? If so for how long?

Do you have to use Nioxin continuously once you started?

There no quick fix to hair loss. Yes Nioxin will work if your are losing hair it, it will help stimulate the scalp to help the hair to grow. No it won't bring back your hair if your already bald or half way there.

You don't have to use the kit forever. Its not a miracle cure. If your wanting something permanent you might have to go get a hair transplant. I hope I helped you out.

Have you ever used any products that prevent hair loss?

What did you use? Did they delay the whole going bald thing? Or did they at least make your hair healthier?

Have you ever used any products that prevent hair loss?

Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out

Have you ever used any products that prevent hair loss?

Hey.

I used Rogaine shampoo when I was about 20 because I was getting paranoid that I was losing hair. I thought it worked really well and it seemed to make my scalp healthier. From what my hair dresser said, it is important to message the scalp to promote hair growth. I don't understand that biology of it but it has worked. I still have a full head of hair 10 years later.

Hair loss 24?

Hi I'm 24 years old and i'm starting to see signs of hair loss with a growing "V" shape above my forehead and redness along that hairline. I have a decent diet and exercise, although stress is an unavoidable part of my life. Would I have a chance to prevent the hair loss now by applying something like rogain? Will I be dependent on it for the rest of my life? If anyone is bald, do you regret not giving a hair loss product a try before it got noticeably worse?

Hair loss 24?

Couple of years ago I was loosing so much hair that I started to worry and I panicked when my hair dresser confirmed my fear. Here are the steps I took:

First at all, check your Iron deficiency, often times Iron deficiency leads to hair loss.

Since my Iron was in the normal levels, I took the products my hair dresser recommended (Triphasic -see the link below) and followed her instructions:

1. For three months, apply one full bottle twice a week after washing my hair and massaged the product in.

2. At the fourth month, apply once a week

3. At the fifth month, apply once every two weeks

4. At the sixth month, apply once a month

I also took a saw palmeto capsule every other day. The combination of the product and the capsules worked for me, the hair I lost came back, I now continuously have baby hair and my hair dresser says that he rather deals with lots of hair than thining hair.

If you want to try, follow the directions and apply a full bottle. My hair dresser mentioned that other of ther clients tried it but did not work for this person because she was trying to save half bottle for next application. Seems like the white powder you have to mix in before applying looses its properties over time... but I only know what worked for me.

I did not want to apply Rogain because I understand that you have to be very careful of what you touch if any product reminds in your hands; additionally, if you stop using it the hair starts to fall again.

Good luck!

Hair loss 24?

Hi,

I think that no matter which medicine you choose it should be taken for the rest of your life.

Before going to Rogain or Propecia I'd try some Chinese Medicine. It's much cheaper.

I took this from http://www.mychinesemedicine.com/chinese...

And I hope this helps.

Hair loss 24?

My 33 year old son has been 'balding' since he was 16 ... he shaves his head, and it's beautiful. My 50 year old husband is 'bald with a fringe' and he is NOT the father of my son ... but I LOVE HIM and love his 'bald head' (which he has had since he was in his early 20s, I met him when he was 39).

You may try Rogaine, and it may help you to keep more hair longer ... but I'm a woman, and I actually think that a 'bald man' who doesn't care is more of a 'real man' than one who tries to 'grow more hair' with Rogaine. You got your 'balding' from your MOTHER, by the way ... and since you have a 'red line' on your head ... between the 'normal' hair and where it is balding, I suggest you TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR before you try Rogaine. If you use it you MUST use it for the rest of your live, or you WILL go bald in the end.

Hair loss 24?

just remember with Rogain you have to use it forever or the baldness will come back. The rule of thumb with hairloss products is: do your research. Most products out there cause the hair to fall out first before it starts working. So keep that in mind. Also, a lot of false claims out there..people just want your money, hence why research is important.

Talk to your doctor before you put your money into it and time.

good luck

Hair loss 24?

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

How effective is Biohair?

Hair loss had been the most concern of young adults now a days. They had been exhausted from this and that brands of hair growing products but ended up loosing more of their hairs and monies as well. How about trying Biohair?

How effective is Biohair?

Okay, I can't answer this one where did you see it, what does it promise and what are you trying to accomplish? If its for thinning hair you could not count the hundreds of products that claim to grow hair. I have tried everything that sounds like it will work. Now I am using Provilus for women. I think, I said think I can see a little less hair falling to the floor than before I started taking it. It is a pill and a Minoxidil solution combination. But it is still up in the h-air if it will really stop the hair loss. If you try Biohair and it seems to work let me know. I'm a junk hair junkie when t comes to loosing my hair.

Over the course of the years ive died my hair all the time. I dyed my hair black last year (and regret it) and since then ive been trying to get it out. I bleached it out and added a dark brown color. but now my hair is COMPLETLEY DAMAGED and dead. im even beginning to see that my hair is thinning out soo bad to the point where i put up my hair and i see my scalp..(im 20 years old) its horrible.. what products do you suggest i should use to not only help grow my hair but also make it look healthy again?

well i donno if your blow drying it or anything...but u should stop doing that and also cut off the bad, dry, damaged split ends...i did that as well and u just need to leave the hair alone and let it due its own thing....i also put in hot treatment oil 3 times a week and leave it on for like an hour, its really helped my hair go back to what it was...hope that helps

Nioxin is a good product for thickening and restoring the hairs texture. but you really need to lay off the dye for awhile. I'm 19 and have dyed my hair about 5 times in the last 4 months. I just take really good care of it and use redken shots to keep it healthy. So every time you go in to dye your hair get a deep conditioning treatment = )

Hair thinning/Hair Loss Product Search...?

Just to tell you now if you are using any Pantene Pro V products or any Pantene products at all those cause hair loss. If you're not I'd suggest some serious hair damage control shampoos and don't be shy with your conditioner. If you don't want to spend to much Dove has some really good products a little more expensive is Bed Head, they have some good stuff But your best bet is to go to your local beauty supply store like a Sally's or your hair dresser and ask someone there .

FORGET HAIR-LOSS/THINNING HAIR. Use "Segals" Brand of hair care and treatment products, imported in India from Canada. The products have a large clientele among the quality-conscious and upwardly mobile customers in various countries including the USA, Canada, France, Australia and Hong-Kong.

The products are revolutionary and the product range consists of a wide range of Formulations, Shampoos, Conditioners, Supplements, etc all manufactured for a precise and specific application to achieve desired results. The products are a highly concentrated and balanced compound of rare and exotic botanical herbs and other active ingredients including antioxidants. The scalp and hair-formulations have been designed to arrest hairloss and promote hair regrowth, treat thinning, damaged/dry hair, dandruff and psoriasis-like conditions in the scalp. Needless to say, all the products are effectively pH balanced, without side-effects and are GUARANTEED for visible results. The product range has been successfully test-marketed in India.

Specific to your problem, it is stated that hair loss starts due to an improper hair-cell metabolism. Good nutrition is important to have thick, full, luxurious hair with bounce, shine and proper texture. To ensure good quality hair growth and texture, the hair root needs a constant supply of oxygen and nutritional substances, which it obtains from the blood. The starved hair follicle needs to be nourished from within. The lack of proper nutrition to the hair root and follicle and unbalanced vitamin intake leads to tired hair and subsequent hair loss. Apart from lack of nutrients, Stress also causes hair-loss by the constriction of capillaries which feed the hair follicle. Stress also causes excessive perspiration attracting airborne debris and pollutants, thus clogging the hair follicles, leading to hair-loss.

We suggest you to use a herbal supplementation formulated from the best known herbs for healthy hair growth from roots. The rare herbs and active ingredients that help so are Fo-Ti, Stinging Nettle, Kelp, SawPalmetto, Silica, Rosemary, Inositol, Biotin and Horsetail.

We recomment to you the following for a minimum period of 3 months for visible results leading to reversal of the premature greying of your hair :

i) Segals Hair Root Formula: For cleaning the scalp and revitalizing the root of the hair for new hair growth. It makes the root free of all sebum, grime, flakes and dirt thereby strengthening the root and thus encouraging hair to grow. The blood circulation in the root is considerably enhanced, laying the foundation for healthy hair growth. To be applied on the scalp every night before bed. Not sticky. Will get absorbed in the scalp on its own.

ii) Segals Advanced Hair Root Supplement: For stimulating hair-cell metabolism and strengthening the connective tissue. Active ingredients in the Supplement have a nutritional ability to not only grow back lost hair but also restore hair to its natural colour and strength. Contains rare herbs like Fo-Ti, Saw-Palmetto, Kelp, Stinging Nettle, Inositol, Biotin, Horsetail and Silica, apart from other active botanical extracts, which are proven to show healthy hair growth from the roots.

Alongwith the Formulation and Hair Supplement suggested above, you need to you use Shampoo/Conditioner specific to arrest these problems. You may require to use Segals Advanced Thinning Hair Shampoo and Segals Thinning Hair Conditioner. There are a host of products of the same Brand, available for Damaged Hair, Dry Hair, Permed Hair, Colour Treated Hair, Dandruff, etc. You will have to choose the Shampoo / Conditioner depending upon the condition of your scalp/hair, for which you yourself are the best judge. Please don't use any commercial shampoos available in the market that contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate / Cocamide / Propylene Glycol / Sodium Chloride / Artificial Colouring or Pearlizing Agents. Avoid perming and blow-drying for atleast 2-3 months while using the specified products, till the effects are visible and stabilise.

Please remember that these products are not mass-marketing, commercial products but are Professional products, created by a Qualified Pharmacist-Doctor in Canada and meant only for quality-conscious people. The fact that the products carry a 100% money-back guarantee in U.S and Canada should convince you about their effectiveness. All products are natural extracts and have no side-effects. The effectiveness of these products is backed by scientific research and clinical trials. These products are a better, safe and effective answer to various chemical formulations available in the market. There is no better, rather no other product available in the Indian market that contains the ingredients specified above and show such stupendous results. I assure you that you will regain the strength, volume, bounce, shine, length and texture of your hair back with consistent usage of these products.

best thing to do is shave your head, that way the roots get air and the long hairs dont get caught on things and fall out....or get pulled out... other than that there is nothing that I know of that you can purchase that actually works...

its scams...to make themselves rich while you worry about how you look...to the point your willing to shell out your hard earned cash for their gimmicks...

When you use products for hair loss, does hair just grow on your head or all over your body?

Since hair loss products are topically applied, the growth would only be where the solution is applied.

How long does it take to notice the effects of Rogaine and do I need it?

Hair History

I've always had thick black hair, although it is very curly. In recent years as a result of dying it and using hair products, I've noticed the front and back of my scalp thinning a little bit - the hair's become whispy. I first noticed the thinning when I was 16, but this was after the first time I bleached my hair.

I don't think there is any genetic history of male hair loss in my family, so i'm not sure what's causing it - it could be a lack of sleep as I've only been getting 3-4 hours of it a night for the past year, if not the hair products from earlier years.

I hear that Rogaine can help regrow hair in most men but that it also sheds some of your hair and likely needs to be continually used for a lifetime. At 21, am I too young to be using it?. Is there a chance my hair follicles will regrow if I leave them alone without using Rogaine? If I do decide to go for this product, is it true that I will lose any hair regrown if I stop using it after the first few months?

How long does it take to notice the effects of Rogaine and do I need it?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Alopecia or male pattern baldness?

this is amazing about a year ago i was experiencing hair loss at the center of my hair which i was very shocked about - i did some research into how to allow the hair to grow back so i used various hair products and spoke to professionals in the hairdressing field and with diligent and dedicated care my hair had started to grow back not as fast as it used to but it has grown - i did not have to go to expensive hair clinics and buy expensive hair products. all i did was massage my hair on a daily basis and used root stimulator products and whole eggs together with using in my hair ,leave in hair conditioner.

However , all of a sudden i have developed an m shaped hair line about a month ago and i have continued to use the same products and it has starded to grow back to ; slowly but surely.

My question did i have male pattern baldness or alopecia as people were telling giving me all types of advice and also i was told that alopecia can attack another part of the scalp.

Alopecia or male pattern baldness?

Ask a doctor.

Natural curly hair help?

I have natural curly hair but you could never tell cause it's friggin straight...what products could I get to get my hair back to curly? I have tried almost everything that I could think of to make my hair even somewhat wavy or curly and nothing has worked. I have used chemicals on my hair (hair dye, hair bleach) and I was wondering if maybe that could have altered my hairs apperance (loss of curls) I want to find something that might bring back my curls. I thought of cutting all my hair off LOL and a perm but that (perm) would be my last resort. I have had perms in the past and they made me look like a friggin poodle lol maybe now that my hair is longer it may not look too bad...I have a pic of me on my yahoo 360 page might give you a idea of what my hair looks like

thanks

Natural curly hair help?

If you had naturally curly har\ir then why is it straight. Try scrunching it with moose hairspray and gel.

Natural curly hair help?

I dye my hair to no end, and it hasn't ever resulted in a loss of my natural wave/curl.

Is it wavy when you get out of the shower? If so, try scrunching it then, using a really strong hair gel. (Your hair'll be crunchy, but hey, it'll be curly/wavy.)

That's about the only way I can get mine to stay curly all day long, though. (I live in Florida, so the humidity does horrible horrible things to my hair.)

Good luck.

Try combing it instead of brushing, my hair is more curly/wavey when I comb it. Again, try a strong hair gel. If it's slightly curlier when you mousse, try using the mousse and a comb.

Natural curly hair help?

I Thinks the best a way you need to do is, you must lose all yur hair first and than you will get back your real hair.

Natural curly hair help?

I dont think that you had naturally curly. If so, it could be staright now, even after how much of chemical treatments (unless rebounding/straightening) you would have done to your hair.

Well, for the time being, you can use mousse or hair sprays to create curls and if you dont want all that hassles, then you can go for a perm itself.

Natural curly hair help?

Bumble and Bumble Curling shampoo is the beginning and end of any curling shampoo and conditioner you will ever need. It also has a curling creme. There is also one that I found in London - perhaps you can get it online - called Gianfranco Ferrer and the shampoo and conditioner is called Curl Friends. Both of these products make your hair silky and smooth, don't weigh down the curl and even just smell really good!!

Also there are some products that I get in the regular drug store that aren't bad either. One is FX curling products - I like the curling spray. There is also SAMY - they have some good stuff and good old Pantene has never steered me wrong.

You are correct about processing your hair - I have often thought that my hair seemed straighter when I colored it. I don't know what that's about, but fret not - today, curly hair is just as sexy as straight hair. The products I mentioned above are just the tip of the iceberg.....

Good luck curly-cue!!

Natural curly hair help?

I have the same problem. When I was younger, my hair was very curly. As I've gotten older the curls have kinda faded. I still have a little bit left though. I just use a little bit of gel and scrunch it. It seems if I straightened my hair the day before, it won't be as curly as if I didn't. If gel won't work, I would suggest getting a body wave. It's a lot more relaxed than a perm. You're right, the perm will make you look like a poodle, even if your hair is long. A wave will make it curly and it will be big curls that will make it look really pretty rather than the tiny curls. When you get your hair done, you can always ask then to use bigger curlers so the curls won't be so little. Good Luck!!!

Is there any kind of product that makes your hair grow quicker, but won't have any side effects

I want a product that makes your hair grow faster. I don't want anything side effects, like loss of hair or thinnig hair or something like that. Is there any safe solution?

Vitamin B-6,, Vitamin B-12,, And also eating right, less fried foods, more green leafy veggies .... and salad's,,,,, and also remember hair grows faster in the summer than in the winter, so if ya start now with incorporating these simple things ...then throughout the winter months it won't be so difficult to stick with during those holidays when we want to eat and eat and eat. So remember, vitamins B-6, and B-12, and eating less greasy foods, and less fried foods. less french fries and hamburgers, and more veggies,,,,, cauilflower, brocollie, and carrots, and spinach, and salads, and baked fish and foul, and incorporate sprouts, and garlic and fresh veggies...etc..... you'll see a differrence within a short time....

Is there any kind of product that makes your hair grow quicker, but won't have any side effects?

There's not really a magic fix to make your hair grow faster. You just have to take care of it. It's supposed to grow about an inch every two months. So in about 6 months, it should grow about 3 inches.

Nioxin shampoo and conditioner work wonders ( salons - look at a salon in a department store or WalMart because they are always having sales on products. Also, Sally's beauty supply carries a knock off brand for less) It is about $15 for a huge bottle. It is made for super fine and thinning hair, because of this the tea tree oil in it helps stimulate hair growth which will make your hair grow quicker. It smells minty and has a nice clean tingly feeling to your scalp. Highly recommend you try it.

Is there any kind of product that makes your hair grow quicker, but won't have any side effects?

I have that same question, I cant get my hair to grow at all. I'm gonna have to take prenatal vitamins

Is there any kind of product that makes your hair grow quicker, but won't have any side effects?

In general, there really isn't any quick fixes. Hair grows about a half inch per month. Gaining legnth is a matter of only trimming about 1/4 inch every couple months to prevent damage and breakage....

Jell-O contains keratin, which is exactly what hair and nails are composed of....The summer tends to be the best season for growing.....

I wish I could give you something other than the suggestion of hair extentions but there are pro's and con's.....

I would do the triming every other month to keep it healthy and growing and maybe temp hair extensions for special occasions......

I hope this helps.....I wish it could be a better solution....

Is there any kind of product that makes your hair grow quicker, but won't have any side effects?

There may not be a product that makes your hair grow quicker, but there is a method.

Method: Keep your hair up and try not to wash it for a week. If you can not stand having not washed hair, try not to wash it for three days. Trust me my sister does that and her hair grows an inch longer every week!

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

im unsure what product to use... but id like to comment what the guy said about being the natural you.

be unique. i say go for it. who wants to impress anyone, especially guys ey?

they're not worth us anyway.

i used to have naturally dark hair, and i went a nice bright deep red. but i had my hair done at the hairdressers. it was weaving it but still. i loved it. so did everyone else.

i still had all the guys. but i never wanted them.

my aunt is over 60 years of age. she now has nice red hair and she is still getting all the men. but she too, not interested.

we're not lesbians either btw aha.

i remember the hair dresser telling me something about "look at that bleach" when she was puting it on thou.

but even though some hairdressers can be awfully pricey, i say go for the hairdresser as much as i self cut my hair now.

it is worth it. i didnt care about the cost when i had my hair done.

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

What colour are your pubes?

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

Smart hair dye its in wilkinsons its AMAZING my hair was almost black and its purple and only took one packet definatley go for this its really good and I'd highly reccomend it :0) x

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

It's ususally not too difficult to achieve a red color from a dark brown, as there's usually a lot of natural red pigment there to start with. My recommendation, though, if you've had problems with coloring and hair loss in the past, is to see a stylist and have it colored professionally. They'll be able to guide you in the safest direction and will have better products than you can purchase over the counter.

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

It won't work on dark hair, you'll have to bleach it to achieve a proper red colour.

I have really dark brown hair and want to dye it red, what product?

I know this is not what you asked, but I will give this advice, being I am a guy, and know the truth about what guys like in women...

Stay as natural as you can. That is what guys prefer. Yeah, I know they go koo-koo over the made up hair changing short skirt and tight bikini wearers, but that is for the quick and done kind of life...

The things men want in a woman is for her to be as natural as possible. I don't know your situation, but I am sure that changing from a dark brown to red will cause any fella looking at you to wonder why you felt the need....

If you are certain you want to change your looks, do it gradually, perhaps by trying to lighten your hair by a slight degree first, and migrate over.

If you have hair loss problems resulting from the coloring and dying process, seriously thing about NOT coloring your hair.

Small child long hair..very snarled, looking like dread locks.help I tried detangler, and silicone pro

i am at a loss after 2 hours tonite I still cant get the snarls out of her hair..used wide comb and detangle, creme rinse even the leave in kind,,its a mess and she is my grandaughter 6years old.

I cant let her go out with this mess and I dont know what to do?

I cannot cut it her Mom arrives 10days from now..HELP PLEASE

Small child long hair..very snarled, looking like dread locks.help I tried detangler, and silicone products?

Get her a good haircut; not too short, but maybe 2 inches past shoulder length. It's not too good for girls to have really long hair at that age because it can get overly damaged from the growing hormones.

Small child long hair..very snarled, looking like dread locks.help I tried detangler, and silicone products?

i have the same prob my hair gets tangled easy snip the BAD parts a little tinny bit.and just brush throught it olive oil will help and its healthy for hair

Small child long hair..very snarled, looking like dread locks.help I tried detangler, and silicone products?

My sister had a few dread locks and didn't want to have to cut them out. We used A LOT of baby oil in her hair and started at the bottom with a comb (go with a smaller toothed one) and worked our way up. It took a couple hours to get the dreads out, but we did it! Make sure that when she takes her baths that plenty of conditioner is used after you get the tangles out. I hope that helps!

Small child long hair..very snarled, looking like dread locks.help I tried detangler, and silicone products?

try to bush it out after every shower and make sure she uses shampoo and conditoner. i should be smooth by 10 days.

Hope it helps!!

There are many products that can reduce hair loss. For details visit http://hair.health2all.info

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

I know that i will have to get something that will repel fleas and get rid of them, what would be the best product for that? And also, what is a good topical medication to reduce the itching and and help the hair loss and and scabs?

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

Frontline, or Advantage. Many years ago, when I had my first experience with fleas, we tried to be cheap about it, buying flea shampoos and some cheap brand to put on their necks and neither worked, at all. Frontline and Advantage kick flea butt.

You can get them at this wonderful website (subscribe to get their catalogue in the mail.. has nifty stuff in it!). Just go to the cat section, then the flea %26amp; tick section. Their prices are much, much better than what my vet sells them for.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

You need either Frontline or Advantage. The other cheap stuff at the stores is crap and does not work.

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

advantage

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

Get her some Frontline and the fleas %26amp; scabs should go away. Don't use store brand flea treatments, they can kill a cat.

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

Advantage. But don't buy anything from any place like Walmart or Target. Vets have the best thing. The stuff they sell at the store is weak and washes away to easy. and can cause skin irritation. Also Get a quality flea Shampoo the cat may not like it but give them a bath with it.Or have a groomer or vet give them a bath.

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

For the fleas, you need a cat flea shampoo. If your cat is allergic to fleas, consult your vet immediately. About the scabs, put some neosporin or triple antibiotic on them and they should heal fast. Also consult your vet about the itching. He/she could have some medicine that stops itching. Also you could get an Elizabethan Collar it's a cone that goes around their neck to stop them from itching. Best of luck with your cat! To see an Elizabethan Collar on a cat go to this link:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

Sorry the link is so long but that's a cat with an Elizabethan Collar and he cannot itch himself now.. Also the brand of cat shampoo I use on my cats is:

Sergeant's Skip-Flea %26amp; Tick Shampoo for cats

(details-Kills Fleas, Ticks %26amp; Lice_Adds lustre %26amp; groomability to cat's coat) It also has two orange tabby cats one is the mom and a kitten playing with a purple ball of yarn. They are on grass. The shampoo is pink when you look inside.

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

There aren't any products you can buy at the store that are any good. Advantage is the best for fleas and you buy it from your vet or you can get it on line. Drug store stuff is junk and can make your cat sick

What are the best products for treatment of a flea allergy in cats that you can buy at a store?

My grand mother had a cat with flea bite allergies, and I bought some natural herbal wipes made by Hartz Mountain on them. They worked fine. Unfortunately, I don't know if they're still being made. My grandparents lived on the East coast (SE PA); they're gone now. But if you see the wipes, try them.

Hair question..please answer!?

Im 17 years old..about a month ago i got a perm for the 2nd time in 5 years. Well a couple days after..my hair somewhat broke off at the top ( that happened the first time too, but grows back quickly) so i didnt worry. But then i know im retarded but i dyed it using just a store product (bad idea i know..you dont have to tell me twice!). and for the past few weeks ive been noticing every time in the shower a little more than usual hair comes out. After i get out, i comb it and a lot comes out..but thats usually how it always was. BUT then ill blow dry and even more comes out..and ill be sitting at my desk at school...and i look at the tips of my hair with whitish bulbs at the end of the strands that are coming out fall to the ground. Its not a severe hair loss...its not coming out in clumps or anything. Its just more than normal. I read on the internet it should be about 3-6 months before back to normal.

Any input on this? Im nervous.. i have fine hair to begin with!

Hair question..please answer!?

Just deep condition every week and use a moisturizer to help bring the moisture back in it. When you perm your hair your are altering the protein bonds in your hair causing them to be pulled out of their normal molecular structure. Because of that they are weak. To help with this may I suggest adding a protein treatment to your regime to help restore the protein loss or weakened. I use infusium 23 repairology leave in conditioner. Also may I suggest you also try other infusium 23 products.

Dyeing your hair dries out the hair strand. Because you dyed your hair, your hair loss moisture so moisturizing almost daily with help.

Hair question..please answer!?

you shouldn't do perm ,they're bad for your hair...

Hair question..please answer!?

It's probably just damage. To reduse it wash your hair less, don't get perms and stop dyeing your hair (if you really want to, you can dye it with herbal tea. i don't know the details. check it out on google. it works! just not as well). use heat protection shampoos and/or conditioners and/or detanling spray. Sunsilk Therma Shine is pretty good. use it before your blow dry your hair or put it through any other type of intense heat. it actually works! Better yet, don't blow dry your hair! If it keeps happening, go see a doctor.

Hair question..please answer!?

you have thin hair.

and too bad.

youre balding!!!!!!!

ahhhh.

Baby hairs flying away?

i recently had a baby and then had a lot of hair loss. now, the hairs have began to grow back, but are still really short, thin, and CURLY! when i wear my hair up, which is most of the time, i have all these little curly hairs sticking out every where! is there a shampoo and conditioner that will help tame these? i dont want to use hair products like gel or moose...they make my hair look oily. any helpful tips??? thanks!!

Baby hairs flying away?

well if u dont want to use gels and so on, might i suggest an antifrizz shampoo and conditioner? i love the pantene pro v line so maybe u can try that. or a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair

there is also anti-frizz serum....

u can also blow dry or flat-iron the hairs so that theyll fit into your pony tail

hope this helps

Baby hairs flying away?

Some suggestions

Try summit liv-your hair will look oily only when you first do it but after that it will be ok and it will tame the hair. in addition if you do it when you first wake up it will dry out. you only need to use this once every few days or so. i do it once a week then wash my hair and use it again. it is a bit expensive and it goes on white but it is great and it conditions the hair very well.

i hope this helps

Baby hairs flying away?

straighten your hair so that its longer to go up in a ponytail and use a little spritz to hold it in place.Or use hair clips to keep the loose hairs in place.

Baby hairs flying away?

i have the same problem an i know your answer u cant do any thing about it but u can use a hair spary but spray it on a brush it also helps like if u straighten your hair to keep it good all day

Baby hairs flying away?

the hairs will be easier as it grows longer. try haitrspray on the palms of your hand and quickly run your hand over the loose strnds to smooth them down or just use a little spray

then run your hands over the ends to smooth them down

Does insulin contribute to hair breaking?

I am a type 1 diabetic (diagnosed when I was 9 years old), and have been having problems lately with my hair. It breaks off and is unbelieveably brittle. I'm a mixed-race woman, and so just assumed I was taking care of my hair improperly (dying it all wild colors, using blow dryers, curling irons and lots of product), but my husband made a comment the other day that my hair loss might not be due to over styling, but rather due to my insulin use. Is there any truth to this? If there is, is there anything I can do, or am I doomed to brittle, angry hair for life.

Does insulin contribute to hair breaking?

I think it is the stress you are putting your hair through due to all coloring, heat and product.

I've been on insulin for 21 years and have always had healthy hair.

Start taking care of your hair properly, and you may not be doomed to brittle angry hair for life.

Does insulin contribute to hair breaking?

Sounds like your hair care to me though it could be a combination. Ask your pharmacist before your doctor. They are free and often know more than the doctor about the reactions one might have to a med.

Does insulin contribute to hair breaking?

yes it does and anyone that takes this is due for this to happen.

i have type 2 and this is happing to me and i'm also a RN

take pre-natil vitamins, they are vitamins you take wile pregnant. They won't do anything weird like make you fat or anything, but they will make your hair and nails soo nice. My hair grew inches while i was pregnant from taking those.

Does anyone know a good hair and skin vitamin?

Pre-natal vitamins are great for hair (and your whole body), you can buy them over the counter, and no, you don't have to be pregnant to take them.

Does anyone know a good hair and skin vitamin?

wal mart, cvs, stores like that sell a vitamin called "skin, hair, and nails" its amazing.end of story.

Does anyone know a good hair and skin vitamin?

the best way to get healthy looking hair and skin is to eat heatly and drink lots of water, it really makes your body clean and refreshed

xoxox

Does anyone know a good hair and skin vitamin?

Go to any drugstore (Target, Wal-mart, etc) and pick up a bottle of Vitamin A. Vitamin A is great for the skin and the hair :) The vitamin bottle isle usually has a booklet explaining what each vitamin does, you can use that to see what other vitamins may help with what you're looking for.

ATTENTION!!!! Mothers of children with thick curly hair---listen up?

I am so unbelievably excited to share good news for those of us with bi-racial and children with thick curly hair. My daughters hair turned into a complete NEST overnight. The humidity has skyrocketed and it became a frightening situation as her hair is all the way down her back and the nest began at the nape of her neck. In sheer desperation, I went to Sally's, haven for all hair products. As I am looking through the "ethnic" hair section, I realize that I HAVE almost every product there in a GIANT hair bin. I see a product that is NOT $12.99 a vial and it will require 4 vials to do HER hair, it is only $2.39 so I just descide to cut my losses and think of it as a value considering the money we spend on useless hair products. IT WORKED!!! Let me say that again, IT WORKED!!!. I do NOT work for ANY company and am not getting paid!!! I MUST share the news. Lustrasilk Aloe Vera Cholesterol , Super Detangling Formula! Put it on and let it sit for a couple of hours, then follow directions!!

Help???!!!?

is it true that water or other hair products can be causers of hair loss?-if so how to grow it bak?

Help???!!!?

Yes, hard water can cause a problem

Help???!!!?

Anything that weighs too heavily on the hair follicle could cause it to pull out. Try shampooing your hair upside down, it sounds weird, but it helps, trust me. I have the same issue. also, I've been taking the PHYTO brand hair vitamins for a month now, and my hair has grown about an inch, and the hair I lost is growing back--fast. I've tried other "hair, skin, and nail vitamins" before with no result, but people swear by these--including me, now. they have pages of positive reviews on amazon.com. A 2 month supply is about $40, worth it to me-good hair is everything!

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

I know hair loss is hereditary but is there anything or any product that can be done or taken to prevent it or slow it down?

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

Dihydrotestosterone or dht is the chemical that causes hairloss. It attaches to your hair follicle and clogs it up. This clogging causes the growing hair to become thinner and thinner until the follicle is completely closed causing hair not to grow there again. Your sensitivity to dht is what is genetic. You don't want to get testerone treatments as the by product of testerone is dht. To increase the testerone is to increase the problem. Saw palmetto does help increase hair growth and thickness but only to places where there is a healthy follicle. A dht clogged follicle would not qualify. Propecia really is the best answer. It keeps the dht from binding to the hair follicle and allows the hair growth to resume naturally. It does not make hair grow, it lets hair grow without chemical restriction. A 30 pill Rx. is about $53.00 at Sam's Clubs nationwide. Most other pharmacies will price match if you ask. Even in areas where your hair is fuzz thin, propecia can open up the follicle and allow a full head of hair to return. You don't have to be bald. After you have acheived the growth that you want, you can take the pill every other day to maintain follicle health. Massage is good for stimulation and can/should be included in regular hair maintenance but this alone will not stop dht binding. Propecia will, and it has been in use long enough for you to get lots of info on it including long term effects up to 15 years out. Hope this helps.

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

my great aunt says to brush your hair lots and it will grow, it stimulates the hair follicles to be strong and to grow, she was a vice president of the hair association of western Canada or something like that.

she noticed that when i showered there was hair left in the tub, so she told me that, and i brush my hair lots now, and the hair loss is way less when i shower. try it, nothing to lose,

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

Yes there is. Saw palmetto.

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

I can understand if you don't have hair or if you are losing it, how humiliating it must be. It mainly seems to be a problem with people of fair skin pigment genetics, although other ethnicities experience this genetic deficiency of dihydrotestosterone too. Since hair loss represents a type of decrease in testosterone; testosterone therapy might be an option, however I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to adamantly suggest that you run out and get pumped up with testosterone. You might want to stop consuming cow's milk and other food and drink substances with estrogen in them. It might help.

There are some medications that have been proven to grow hair. Their culmination came from the result of side effects discovered from medicinal substances originally designed to treat other maladies such as cancer or bladder illnesses.

Currently Propecia and Rogaine are the only two that I know of that grow hair, however these medications are expensive.

My old roommate is on some type of medication to treat his health problems (he has prostate problems) ; it grows hair too and it is neither one of the medications mentioned above. He takes a prescription medicine of some type. Propecia and Rogaine no longer require a prescription.

Another option is getting a microfollicle hair transplant. They are virtually undetectable to the naked eye. These are very expensive too.

The third but least desirable option is getting a wig (toupee) The expensive ones can look ok, but must be maintained to keep their "real" look. If it's a small toupee to cover a hair loss problem that isn't that great, you might be able to get away with this look, otherwise they look quite phony and can be spotted a mile away, if almost your entire head is a bald spot. They also are a pain to maintain and are quite uncomfortable because heat and sweat builds up underneath them. They don't "breathe"

Most of your hair loss has to do with bad genes (see first paragraph). My hair has remained thick throughout my life. The only problem is, now it's getting grey. I've never had the problem of having a tub full of hair after I take a shower or brush it.

Eat well and do other things to keep your body healthy. You'll thank me for it in the long run, trust me.

Are there any vitamins or healthcare supplements that will help stimulate hair growth FOR MEN?

Sea-salt rubbed into the hair helps a friend of mine. That may be just the stimulation that helps, but he says the salt feels good, too. Try it. Gelatine works well for nails, so I don't see why it wouldn't work well for hair.
